The most common weed-infused Condiments
The transcendence in love of cooking cannot take any more of a literal meaning when you say that “My love for cooking got much higher”. The high cuisine of cannabis-infused culinary arts is among the top ten cooking trends of 2018. Care not for the reason behind it, was it the legalization in 23 states or the liberty of recreational use in four? In any case, the food got high and it’s got more depth than the reasons behind its illegalization. According to Rasta’s, “the holy herb” can help you discover the inner divinity. I won’t stretch it that far but it sure does brings about the happy times and its medicinal benefits are far too much to ignore.
You can bake a Pot brownie with a few dollops of “Cannabutter” or a cannabis cocktail with a marijuana tincture, the possibilities are endless. You can turn almost any food or beverage into a marijuana-infused delight as long as you can find ways to balance out the over-dominant pungent, musty, grassy, sometimes citrusy or floral flavor of the main ingredient. Or you can use a variety of Cannabis Condiments to transform your simplest of the dishes.
Cannabis-infused condiments give you the liberty of presenting the same dish to both of those who like weed edibles and those who don’t consume marijuana. Saves you the hassle of cooking separate meals for both types of guests, just replace the cannabis-infused sauce with the normal one for those who are not a fan of potent meals. Pass up the cheap bong for once and make one of these recipes to curb your appetite.
Cannabutter: The most common potent condiment
Cannabis butter seems to be the most common ingredient in the league of Edibles. From Pot brownie to Potent Barbeque sauce, it is used in most of the cannabis-infused foods. It is the simplest ingredient yet making it can be a little tricky.
Recipe
You can convert cannabis in oil, alcohol or fat. You can use olive oil or the fat from the butter or the fat from an animal such as cow, it depends on what you’re cooking. Start to finish: 2–3 hours (active: 20 minutes)
Ingredients
¼ ounce (7 grams) marijuana leaves, ground or broken up
1 stick unsalted butter
Cheesecloth and a wire mesh strainer
Directions
Melt butter on the very gentle heat. Add ground weed and stir. Let it soaked in for two hours and do not allow to boil. It will slowly bubble a bit but keep the heat very low or you burn away the cannabinoids. Remove from heat and allow it to cool. Transfer mixture to a strainer lined with a double layer of cheesecloth and let drain over a bowl. Grab the edges of the cheesecloth and squeeze out the soaked leaves, but not too firmly or you will be extracting water moisture. Give the butter a little stir and transfer to a small Tupperware container lined with wax paper. Refrigerate until firm.
High Hot Sauce
Imagine the exhilarating arousal of the taste buds combined with the relaxing whisper throughout the body. Cannabis-induced hot sauce gives your food an edge of thrilling spiciness and a high to the entire experience. A few drops on hot wings or a drizzle in spicy cocktails, it’s for those who love spicy tension and tranquility at the same time.
Recipe
You can prepare your own hot sauce or buy it from a store to infuse it with cannabis
Ingredients
1 pound fresh hot red chili peppers (jalapeno works fine)

4 tablespoons of cannabutter

Balsamic Vinaigrette
The cannabis-infused Balsamic Vinaigrette is a most basic yet the best potent condiment to cannabisize your food. It can be simple, sweet, savory or all of those at once and can be prepared in a matter of minutes. A drizzle is all that it takes to medicinalize your favorite salads or soups.

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 garlic clove
minced Salt

Coconut oil and Weed Honey
Honey itself is a cavalry made up of essential enzymes, vitamins, and minerals, as well as antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Infusing cannabis could only make it more medicinal. Stirring some weed honey into your cinnamon green tea or pouring it over some fruit could be a great way to medicate.
Ingredients
3.5 grams of cannabis
½ cup of coconut oil
11 oz or almost 300 grams honey
Directions
Grind or break up the cannabis to allow a lot of surface area exposure for a better extraction. Put the cannabis in a canning jar and pour the coconut oil over it. Seal the canning jar. Put the canning jar in a boiling water for about two hours. Pour this mixture through a cheesecloth and squeeze out the oil from the mixture. Throwaway the cannabis remains. Add 1 oz of cannabis infused coconut oil to 11 oz of honey and blend it in a blender.
